DISEASE CONTROL POLICY – COVID 19.
As an in person/class type business we have had to sit down this morning to discuss, pray and ultimately go over our policies on events, classes, workshops, etc and what that looks like for our business, our family and our community of guests due to disease control and the recent COVID-19.
We have researched and intend on following our state and health officials recommendations on public gatherings.
For now, we intend to operate as business as usual. What does that mean?
Due to our space and square footage, we will be capping all classes, parties and events to a 16-20 person class size, with an over flow in our additional Workshop space if needed.
All surfaces and tools will continue to be wiped down and sanitized for your concerns and safety.
A pandemic like this has the potential to be devastating to so many small businesses. But with prayer, wisdom and your help, we plan to be innovative and prevail.
Above all else…. just know, we love our little business, our customers and the crafty community we have built around us!
We hope you continue to stay safe and stay healthy.
In these times of uncertainty may we help our neighbor, support each other, and find peace and refuge in an almighty, loving savior.

I confirm that I am willingly participating in this Appleberry’s Attic DIY Workshop. I authorize Appleberry’s Attic to use all photographs of me taken at any AA workshop. In consideration of accepting my registration, providing the supplies and materials, and hosting this activity, I hereby release Appleberry’s Attic and all its owners, agents, employees and the property/building owner of all liability for any injuries or accidents that may occur while participating in this workshop. I further agree to hold harmless and indemnify Appleberry’s Attic from any claims, actions or demands, including costs and attorney fees.
I acknowledge there are risks involved in a DIY Workshop. Hammers, screws, nails, sand paper, hot glue, paints, stains could be used at your Appleberry’s Attic workshop. I declare that I do not have any medical or health conditions that I should not be using any of the tools or activities in the workshop.
Items demonstrated, displayed and/or made in our workshops including our Appleberry’s Attic Switchable or “Switch” Sign are for personal use only. The items, techniques, and designs are property of Appleberry’s Attic and are considered CONFIDENTIAL. I agree NOT TO commercially SELL, SHARE, DISCLOSE or TEACH techniques for recreating items learned or shown in this workshop or {ANY workshop} held by Appleberry’s Attic, LLC at any time whether it be in my own ventures or for another person or entity within 200 miles of this Appleberry’s Attic, Craft Studio. I agree that I will not use what I learned in this workshop to create a like business or workshop.
If I consume alcohol during the workshop I accept full responsibility for my actions and for any injuries that may occur related to me or that I may cause to other participants as a result of my alcohol consumption on the premises, or thereafter when I leave the premises.

FAQ
Where is your studio? – We are located in the lower level at 2013 – 2nd Ave. in Downtown Anoka. We are next to and in the same building as 10k Brewery, Main St. Floral, and Timeframe Antiques.
How do I sign up for a class? – You can either look on our Homepage to see the most recent classes coming up or we encourage you to click on the UPCOMING EVENTS tab. That will bring you to all our available classes!
What’s included in the cost? – all the materials to build your chosen craft along with tons of stain and paint choices. We also provide aprons and gloves to keep you paint free! And a girls night wouldn’t be complete with out complimentary water, coffee, and a small plate of sweets. We really have thought of it all so you don’t need to bring anything but yourself!
Can I bring food or beverages? – Yes! If you are hosting or part of a private party you are more then welcome to bring snacks or drinks, including wine/beer, to share with your party! We just ask you bring any cups/cutlery you will need to serve and consume your food or beverage.
How many people can fit in your studio? – 24 comfortably but we can squeeze in 40 if you choose a smaller craft.
What is the age limit for a public or private class? – Depending on the craft, we usually say around 12 years of age. Some craft projects are simple, others require more building and the use of tools. As always, we say it is at your discretion as you the parent may want to help and assist at this age level.
Do we get to pick the colors of our craft project? – Yes! We offer 3 different stain colors along with dozens of paint colors to choose from! This way you can customize the piece to fit the color or decor’ of your space!
I have a larger group of friends, how do we book a Private Party? – We love private parties! You can email us at appleberrysattic@yahoo.com or for faster service give us a call! 612.270.2080. We will gladly find an open day and time on the calander that works for you and your group! While talking about details we will also help you pick a project that you and your group would like to create! We encourage people to check out our PRIVATE EVENTS tab… there you will find all the details along with a sampling of crafts and projects you can select from for your party!!!
Can we choose different projects/crafts for our Private Party? – Yes! We say as long as the crafts are some what similar we don’t mind jumping around to a couple different projects, as long as they are similar in nature. To keep from overwhelming your guest we usually recommend giving them 2-3 options of crafts to choose from.
If we do a Sign Night can we pick different sayings? – Absolutely! We do plenty of parties called a “You Pick” Sign Night! This means for a private party you and I will come up with a dozen or more designs and sayings that you think your guest would like to turn into a sign! When they register for your party, they will be able to select the saying they want and check out right then and there from out website!
Would you travel and do an event outside of your studio? – Yes! That depends on number of attendees and mileage. But we would be happy to talk about traveling to an agreed upon location for your event, fundraiser, show, or conference! Message us for more details and to talk about numbers and arrangement.
I can’t make it, but have signed up! What is your cancellation policy? – Due to the custom nature of these events, NO REFUNDS will be made if you have already paid. However we will gladly let you come and pick up your items if you’d like to make the craft at home or if you’d like you can have a friend fill in for you. These crafts require plenty of prep and steps to be pre-done before you girls arrive, so we hope you understand.
